Hello DRIVE Family,
Last month, we shared a brief overview of our community engagement vision and how, over time, this vision could evolve into a powerful social movement with thousands of community members actively participating in various civic activities.
This month, we will focus on the role storytelling and media play in transforming the "anima" of our community. The Latin term "anima" refers to the soul, spirit, or vital essence of a person or place. In our case, it's about the anima of Fresno. How do we, as a community, feel about ourselves? If that feeling is negative, how can we shift it? If it's marked by indifference, what steps can we take to foster greater interest and empathy within our community? These are the questions we’ll explore this month.
